About

Jihad Osta’s farm in Maghdoushe, Saida, is a 5,000-square-meter pilot project within the Scarabée Regenerative program, focused on transitioning from conventional to sustainable practices. The farm specializes in dragon fruit production and employs regenerative techniques, such as using nitrogen-fixing cover crops, to enhance soil health and moisture retention. By 2026, the site aims to validate chemical-free agriculture in Lebanon, utilizing strategies to establish a resilient, low-input system addressing food and economic issues.
