What motivates you to be part of SILA?

"Through my work in organic retail, I work closely with local producers and understand the challenges farmers face, from economic pressures to climate stress and market instability. Supporting ecological farming practices such as agroecology and permaculture is not only about producing healthier food; it is about preserving soil, water, biodiversity, and livelihoods for future generations.

I also believe in growing this community so more conventional farmers can transition toward sustainable agriculture, while we continue learning from one another and building a more resilient and regenerative local food system."
