What motivates you to be part of SILA?
My relationship with food starts in the soil and extends to the people who eat what we grow. Agroecology guides my work because it respects natural systems, local knowledge, and the long-term health of the land and communities. I’m joining SILA because trust should be built through transparency, dialogue, and shared responsibility — not through distant certification alone. I believe the future of our food systems depends on farmers and communities working side by side to build resilient, ethical, and truly local food systems.
